I watched the coverage on ESPN before the Pro-Bowl and Boomer did a run down of the all decade team. When they got to left tackle they said leading the list is Jonathan Ogden and showed some footage of him. Yet every list I have seen (even during this same program) has big Walt at the top of the list. WTF gives? Just a slice of disprespect from ESPN or is Ogden really held in higher regard than Walter?

Any one else catch that?

Shaun, Walt and Hutch. What a powerhouse group! Had Mack's career not bridged two decades, he would have been worthy as well.

Walter is widely regarded not only as the best left tackle to ever play the game, but also one of the best players, period. If ESPN was placing Jonathan Ogden above Walt, they're just wrong.

I've heard it both ways, some regard Ogden the best, some consider Walt the best. I believe Walt is tryuely the best, Odgen just got more press because he played out in the East Coast. They are both great and HOFers regardless.

Yeah, the fact that anyone on the west coast is even being placed anywhere near the best for his position indicates to me that he is, in fact, the best.

Hutch and Walt are simple picks. Shaun Was only bested in stats by one guy in his hot 5 year career at the top LaDanian Tomlinson. The interesting fact about this select group was how much all three of these men dictated the hawks biggest successes in a QB driven league.

I was so happy to see Shaun recognized here because I think he's been so attacked for his great offensive line that it almost didn't matter what he did.

I honestly think now though, at least in Seattle, fans saw the Jones vs. Forsett situation as a new logic to maybe consider that there is more to running in football than just running through a hole.

Walt didn't give up a single sack in 2468 passing snaps.
