I don't know a thing about the Thunderbirds, but if ever Seattle got an NHL team I would be its biggest fan...
Right now I'm a Devils fan, but that's kinda like saying I'm a fan of Germany, since I don't get there very often and neither do I see the Devils very often.
If we lose the Sonics, I wouldn't mind at all seeing the hole filled with an NHL team. _________________ There are two kinds of people, those who finish what they start and so on.

I am excited for the team to move to Kent. (I hope they still are, I haven't heard anything on it in a while)
I will be going to quite a few games a year if they do. I can't stand watching hockey on TV but I love going to watch it in person. |

Absolutely, Mike. It's the best sport to watch live. And one of the worst to watch on television.
I'm a huge hockey fan but I live in the wrong place for it. _________________ There are two kinds of people, those who finish what they start and so on.

That's the truth. T-Birds games are fun to go to, especially when we play Portland. Lots of rowdy fans come out to have some fun. |

Seattle will never get a NHL team, Barry Ackerly made sure of that when he remodoled the Seattle Center Arena to be primarly a NBA arana- I have season tickets to the Seattle Thunderbirds and I'll tell you what, I cant wait for the team to move to Kent- two reasons #1- Key Arena SUCKS for Hockey and #2- its closer to my home.
JV- Ya should check out a Thunderbirds game- there a blast to go to! _________________

When I lived in Denver I got my first intro to hockey when the Avs won the cup. The intricacies of the game fascinate me. Line changes and the like. I would love a team in the NW aside from the Vancouver squad. They play dirty, not physical. _________________ "Life is an occasion. Rise to it!" - Mr. Magorium |

Like I said- there will never be NHL in Seattle as long as the KeyArena is the way it is- it is NOT a NHL caliber arena and I highly doubt the NHL would even consider it as a permanent arena for a team. (And we have Barry Ackerly to thank for that) Heck the Tacoma Dome is a better Hockey Arena then the KeyArena- sad statement! _________________
